Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. The service
bkdin provides online reservation and venue-management software. Venues use it to take bookings, manage tables and service, and optionally collect deposits and payments. Guests use venue booking pages to make and manage reservations.
2. Guest bookings
Your reservation contract is with the venue, not bkdin. Deposits, cancellation windows and refund rules are set by each venue and shown before you confirm. Payments are processed by Stripe; refunds are returned to the original payment method.
3. Venue accounts
You're responsible for your account, your staff's access (including PINs), and the accuracy of what you publish. New venues get a free trial; when it ends there is a 7-day grace period, after which online bookings pause and the dashboard becomes read-only until a paid plan is chosen. Subscriptions renew monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled any time from Billing (service continues to the end of the paid period).
4. Payments to venues
Card payments collected from guests are processed through Stripe Connect and settle to the venue’s own Stripe account. Venues are responsible for their tax, receipts, and compliance with card-network rules, including handling disputes.
5. Acceptable use
No unlawful content, abuse of other tenants, scraping, attempting to access other venues’ data, or interfering with the service. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or its users at risk.
6. Availability & liability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, bkdin’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by the venue in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are notified to venue owners by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Contact: admin@bkdin.app.
